Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel assignment in Springfield, Missouri. The ideal ER RN has 1–2 years of acute care experience and will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour evenings shift, in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities include triage, care per physician orders, patient assessment, and documentation. Certifications ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC are required; NIH may be required; travel nurses enjoy weekly pay and benefits through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience in ER
• Active RN license required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Triage and initial assessment of ED patients
• Provide evidence-based care per physician orders
• Monitor patient status and vital signs
• Document care in charting systems
• Assist with procedures and wound care as needed
• Maintain supplies and equipment and ensure safety
