Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel ED Registered Nurse for Lewiston, Maine, in Emergency Services. This 12-week assignment offers night shifts and pay up to $672–$768 gross per shift (about $56–$64/hour).

You will support ED operations, staffing, and patient flow, with duties including rounds, direct patient care as needed, and staff development. Qualifications include RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ED experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications on hire.
• Minimum one year ED/acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
• Coaches and supports staff development.
• Assists with performance management and HR activities.
• Monitors supplies, equipment and unit readiness; coordinates patient flow.
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues.
• Rounds with patients and families to ensure a positive experience.
• Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing.
