Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel ED Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Shifts available are nights, with pay up to $672-$768 gross per shift and $56.00-$64.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include overseeing ED operations, staffing, and patient flow to ensure safe, high-quality care. Required qualifications include an active RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with at least one year in an acute care ED setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, ED setting required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts; ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
• Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness; coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
• Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
• Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
