Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel ED Registered Nurse for Lewiston, Maine. Shifts available Day and Night, 12-week assignments in Emergency Services with pay up to $497–$689 per shift ($41.44–$57.43 per hour).

Responsibilities include overseeing ED operations, staffing, and patient care, with dedicated career support and weekly pay. Licensure and certifications require active credentials and ED experience. Join a national network of partner hospitals.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.
BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
PALS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, ED setting required.

Responsibilities

Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts. Ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness. Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
