Job summary
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel ED Registered Nurse for night shifts in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers competitive pay, with shifts paying up to $672-768 gross per shift (equivalent to $56-64 per hour), and weekly pay.
Responsibilities include overseeing ED operations, staffing, patient flow, and ensuring high-quality care. Requirements include RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least one year in an acute ED setting.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at hire.
- Minimum of one year ED nursing experience in acute care.
Responsibilities
- Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
- Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
- Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
- Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness.
- Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
- Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
- Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
