Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel ED Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role requires ED experience, current RN licensure, and active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Nights shift with a pay of $672–$768 per shift (roughly $56–$64 per hour).

The position involves managing ED operations, staffing, patient flow, and direct patient care as needed, with weekly pay and robust support from dedicated career specialists.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, ED setting required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts. Ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
• Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
• Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness. Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
• Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
• Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
