Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN for the ED in Austin, TX. This 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights in a stand-alone emergency department. The role emphasizes rapid assessment and decisive care in a fast-paced setting.

The RN will perform patient assessment, IV starts, EKG monitoring, and other emergency procedures, supported by a skilled team and updated technology. Texas RN license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Entry-level candidates accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care in a busy ED.
• Perform IV starts, 12-lead EKG, and patient assessment.
• Collaborate with shift staff and CNC to ensure safe patient care.
