Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks a travel RN for the Emergency Department in Austin, TX. This 13-week contract involves night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours per week, with weekends rotating and no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with a care team in a fast-paced ED. Requires RN license, ACLS/BLS/ENPC/TNCC/NIHSS certifications and ED/trauma experience; Meditech a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required or preferred.
• Experience in emergency care, trauma and behavioral health preferred.
• Proficiency with Meditech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency department.
• Evaluate and assess patient needs and implement interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.
• Perform procedures such as splinting, EKGs, and airway support.
• Participate in behavioral health de-escalation and trauma support.
