Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks an Emergency Department travel nurse (RN) for a 13‑week assignment in Austin, TX. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience with ACLS, BLS, NIH, TNCC and ENPC certifications. Expect 12‑hour nights, 36 hours per week, in a fast‑paced ED environment.

Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment, documentation, IV therapy, wounds care and patient education. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under stress are essential.

Qualifications

• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIH, TNCC, ENPC and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality ER bedside care in a fast-paced travel assignment.
• Triage and assess patients, implement care per physician orders.
• Document medical history, allergies, vital signs and patient progress.
• Monitor patients and support families as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort.
