Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for the ED in Sylva, North Carolina. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts (7 PM–7 AM) and every-other-weekend commitment. Start date is 10/05/2026, and it includes travel opportunities and a dedicated ARMStaffing support team.

The ideal candidate holds an active NC RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least two years of emergency department experience. Moderate sedation and cardiovascular interventions are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice (North Carolina).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Experience with moderate sedation and cardiovascular interventions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and perform rapid assessments to prioritize care.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
• Perform emergency interventions as necessary.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EHR systems.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
