Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Sylva, NC. Shift is 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required. The role focuses on triage, rapid assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and perform rapid assessments to prioritize care.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
• Perform emergency interventions as necessary.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EHR systems.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
