Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED for a travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. This position features 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and a 13-week duration, offering competitive pay and travel support.

Candidates must hold an active RN license with ED experience, a nursing degree, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS (TNCC may be required). Eighteen months of recent acute care ER experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required in some positions.
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room.
• Other requirements determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients with trauma or illness.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize patients and prioritize life-threatening conditions.
• Perform rapid triage and make quick, accurate patient assessments.
• Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues affecting emergency care.
