Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Dept RN with a CA license and Level II trauma center background for a varied shift assignment. This travel-friendly role offers robust benefits and opportunities to work in a high-volume trauma environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in ER, CA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, Epic EMR experience, and trauma-focused certifications. ENPC/TNCC are preferred. W-2 status with the staffing agency participates in housing and licensure support.

Qualifications

Active California RN license required.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher.
Experience with Pediatrics, Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke cases required.
Epic EMR charting experience required.
ENPC and TNCC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Level II Trauma Center, Joint Commission Accredited STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Receiving Center.
5 pods with 49 beds, maximum ratio of 4:1.
Approximately 68,000 annual ED visits.
Varied 12-hour shift schedule with start times of 6a, 8a, 10a, 12p, 2p, and 6p.
Uses Epic charting system.
Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions required to float as needed.
Must be a W-2 employee of the staffing agency to be eligible for this facility.
