Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Farmington, CT. Start date 10/12/2026, 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts. Travel position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The ER RN provides rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED, coordinating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and outcomes. Strong clinical skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in CT.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document patient conditions and interventions in EMR.
• Take and monitor vital signs and respond to deviations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
