Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ER RN for a 15-week travel assignment in Oshkosh, Nebraska. The nurse will deliver rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED, with a 12-hour shift schedule and a 36-hour workweek.

Required qualifications include ER RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS (or ENPC). Preferred certifications may include TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP and SANE. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience is required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Current PALS (AHA/ ARC) or ENPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival and prioritize care.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED visit.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
