Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Olympia Fields, IL. You will provide rapid-response nursing care in a fast-paced ED, triaging patients, administering life-saving treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires one year of ER RN experience, an active IL RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certification, with preferred additional trauma certifications. Travel benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC/other pediatric certs.

Responsibilities

• Rapid triage and assessment of patients on arrival.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per ED protocols.
• Assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient conditions and ensure safety in the ED.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists and support staff.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control and regulatory standards.
