Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse (RN) for Hastings, NE. The ER RN will evaluate, triage and implement care in a fast-paced environment, with 13-week duration and night shifts.

This role requires ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH certifications and 1–2 years of acute care experience. As a travel ER RN, you’ll work across diverse teams, document medical histories, monitor vitals, and provide bedside care while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC certifications required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
• Travel ER RN assignment in Hastings, NE (13 weeks, 36 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and patient assessment in a fast-paced ER.
• Perform wound care and IV therapy as ordered.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment; ensure clean and ready work environment.
• Document patient history and monitor vital signs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and report any abuse as required.
