Job summary
Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel ED Registered Nurse for an assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will cover nights in the Emergency Services department, with a 12-week length and weekly pay. Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN license.
- BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
- ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
- PALS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
Responsibilities
- Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
- Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
- Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
- Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness; coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Addresses patient care concerns and escalates as needed.
- Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
- Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
