Job summary

WellStar is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the W.E.S.T. Float Team across WellStar facilities in Georgia. You will provide expert, patient-centered care in fast-paced ED settings and travel between campuses as needed.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years ED RN experience, BSN preferred, active GA or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or ATCN preferred. Join a high-performing team committed to excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with standards.

What You\'ll Do:

What You\'ll Bring:

Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience required.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) required.

Required Licensure/Certifications:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.

• BLS - Basic Life Support required.

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.

• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.

• TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course or ATCN - Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cert preferred.
