Job summary

WellStar Health System in Georgia is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the W.E.S.T. Float Team. You will deliver patient-centered care across WellStar facilities, travel between sites, and contribute to high-quality emergency services.

Requirements include 2+ years ED RN experience, BSN preferred, active GA RN license (or compact), and BLS/ACLS/PALS with TNCC/ATCN preferred. Join us to grow with Georgia's most integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact), BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC/ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with WellStar standards.

What You’ll Do

Education

Required Licensure/Certifications

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.
• BLS – Basic Life Support required.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.
• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.
• TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course or ATCN - Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cert preferred.
