Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel ED Registered Nurse for the Lewiston, Maine area. The role requires nights shifts and supports ED operations and staffing across a 12-week assignment.

Pay ranges up to $672–$768 per shift, equivalent to $56–$64 per hour, with weekly pay and hospital partnerships across the nation. Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS per hire, plus ED experience of at least one year in acute care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, ED setting required.
• PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
• Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
• Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness.
• Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
• Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
• Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
