Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer to perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies in a hospital EKG Lab in Boston. The role includes stress and dobutamine echocardiograms and portable exams, with Epic charting and on-site responsibilities.

The position requires a valid BLS, appropriate license if applicable, and strong Doppler interpretation skills. 13-week assignment, 40 hours per week, days shift, travel employment type.

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required; hospital sites may require AHA only.
License to practice required if applicable.
Proficient in non-imaging continuous Doppler techniques.
Skilled in diagnosing wall motion abnormalities and related cardiac findings.
Ability to review patient charts and interpret test results.

Responsibilities

Perform 2D, color Doppler, and Doppler echocardiograms in the EKG Lab.
Conduct stress and dobutamine echocardiograms with interpretation.
Perform portable studies daily and mobilize equipment as needed.
Use Epic for charting and prepare test reports.
Explain procedures to patients and ensure accurate data collection.
