Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) for a 13‑week assignment in Boston, MA. The role requires 1 year of echocardiography experience, BLS, and ARDMS/CCI certifications as applicable.

Expect 12‑hour days and 36 hours per week with a tax-free stipend details to be confirmed. As an Echo Tech, you will operate cardiac ultrasound equipment, ensure imaging accuracy, and relay studies to physicians for interpretation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of echocardiography experience required.
• Current BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification where applicable.
• State licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Perform echocardiographic studies and ensure quality Doppler exams.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms as required.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper cleaning and maintenance.
• Record findings and report to the reading physician.
• Maintain patient records and use the PACS system.
