American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer to independently perform comprehensive echocardiograms, including bubble studies and stress echo, in a cardiac testing setting.

• Performs comprehensive echocardiograms, bubble studies, and stress echo
• 13-week assignment with an 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM shift schedule
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted at most sites)
• License required if applicable
• Advanced knowledge of congenital anatomy, surgical repairs, and age-dependent physiology
• Ability to acquire high-quality diagnostic images and provide accurate preliminary findings independently

Additional Information

• Understand exam rationale and support high-acuity diagnostic and clinical decision-making
• Comply with patient privacy and safety guidelines and departmental/hospital policies
• Responsibilities may evolve at the discretion of department leadership
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the Boston facility are accepted at a reduced rate
