MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week assignment in Boston, MA. Expect 40 hours weekly, 8-hour days, with travel-friendly benefits as part of a Joint Commission-certified staffing partner.

The role requires completion of accredited cardiac technology and echocardiography programs, with interpretation skills and 2D Echo, Doppler capabilities. Assignment offers housing or housing allowance and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of physicians, prepares patient for examination and performs 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records of echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Follow physicians orders, policies and procedures accurately.
