Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. The position requires 1 year of echo experience, BLS and ARDMS/CCI certification as applicable, with state licensing as required.

Tasks include performing echocardiograms and maintaining patient records, with 12-hour rotating shifts over 36 hours per week. The role involves travel nursing, with a 13-week assignment, and exposure to PACS systems and various imaging modalities in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 1 year of echocardiography experience
• BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification and state licensing when required
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures performed
• Demonstrate competence in performing echocardiographic studies with quality Doppler and color imaging
• Acquire quality stress echocardiography and Dobutamine images
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms per physician expectations
• Maintain patient records and care for patients undergoing echocardiograms
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for interpretation
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and use McKesson PACS system
