Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is looking for a Travel Echo Technician to work in Lynchburg, VA. The role includes performing 2-dimensional echoes and maintaining records. Candidates should have successful training in cardiac technology and ultrasound, along with interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and perform all 2-dimensional echoes under the direction of supervising physicians.
• Prepare and provide preliminary interpretation of studies.
• Maintain records of echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty, and other physicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
