The role combines shop repairs with field diagnostics, using scan tools and testing equipment to identify issues and complete repairs efficiently on the first attempt.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic with heavy-duty repair.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and emissions systems (REQUIRED).
• Ability to work independently in remote environments and travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Travel between job sites to inspect, diagnose, and repair medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, emissions, transmissions, and A/C systems.
• Operate testing equipment and document repair updates for management.
• Maintain service truck organization, parts inventory, and safety compliance.
