Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Shop/Traveling Diesel Mechanic to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and related equipment across multiple states. The role requires independent field work with a shop base in Oklahoma City, OK, and travel across OK, TX, LA, KS, and CO.

You will perform advanced diagnostics, welding, and preventative maintenance while ensuring safety and DOT compliance. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose across diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and emissions systems.
• Welding and fabrication capabilities are required.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT physicalability.

Responsibilities

• Travel between job sites to diagnose and repair medium/heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, emissions, transmissions, and A/C systems.
• Use scan tools, diagnostic software, multimeters, and gauges to identify failures.
• Perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventative services.
• Fabrication, welding, and cutting as needed for repairs.
• Maintain service truck, tools, inventory, and documentation; ensure DOT compliance.
