DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC in Oklahoma City is seeking a skilled Shop/Traveling Diesel Mechanic with extensive troubleshooting experience in medium and heavy-duty truck systems. This role requires independent work in the field and travel across multiple states.

You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, emissions, transmissions, and A/C systems using scan tools and diagnostic software.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably heavy-duty truck repair
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and emissions systems (REQUIRED)
• Fabrication and welding experience required
• Must be able to travel frequently across multiple states and work independently in the field

Responsabilidades

• Travel between job sites to inspect, diagnose, and repair medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks, skid steers, and related equipment
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, emissions, transmissions, and A/C systems
• Utilize scan tools, diagnostic software, multimeters, pressure gauges to identify failures
• Perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventative services
• Demonstrate knowledge of diesel emissions systems and electrical diagnostics
• Complete repairs accurately on first attempt through root-cause analysis
• Maintain service truck, tools, inventory, and parts accountability
• Ensure safety and DOT compliance, and communicate repair updates with management
