Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Shop/Traveling Diesel Mechanic for diagnostic-focused repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks. The role requires travel across OK, TX, LA, KS and CO, with a shop base in Oklahoma City, OK. A service truck is provided.

You will diagnose diesel, electrical, hydraulic, emissions, and A/C systems using scan tools and diagnostic software, perform repairs, and maintain documentation while complying with safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably heavy-duty truck repair.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting across diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and emissions systems.
• Willingness to travel frequently across multiple states and pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Travel between job sites to inspect, diagnose, and repair medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, emissions, transmissions, and A/C systems.
• Use scan tools and testing equipment to identify faults and ensure first-time fixes.
• Perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventative services in the field.
• Maintain service records and comply with DOT safety standards.
