Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. seeks a seasoned Superintendent for Demolition & Blasting, with willingness to travel across the Midwest. You will oversee daily site activities, lead field personnel, and ensure work aligns with safety standards, design specs, budgets, and schedules.

Candidate should have 5–10 years in heavy industrial demolition and hold OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, and related safety certifications. Proficiency with MS Outlook/Word/Excel and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years' Heavy Industrial Demolition experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, reports, plans, specifications, and legal documents.
• Strong communication and scheduling skills across a field team.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily site activities ensuring safety, design, budget, and schedule adherence.
• Lead personnel on multiple project sites and coordinate with General Superintendents.
• Schedule subcontractors, monitor work, and ensure QA/QC of field operations.
• Maintain safety culture and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Prepare documentation for reporting safety issues and project progress.
