Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week contract in Pittsburgh, PA. The role supports operating room services in a travel capacity, with a 36-hour week and 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities include preparing sterile setups, passing instruments, assisting the surgical team, and ensuring aseptic technique. Requirements include 2 years of surgical technologist experience, BLS, CST or Tech in Surgery-Certified, and compliance with PA and NY laws.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TSC).
• Compliance with PA and NY state laws for surgical technologists.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with sterile setups, instruments, drapes, and solutions.
• Assemble sterile and non-sterile equipment and ensure proper function.
• Prepare patients for surgery and maintain aseptic incisions.
• Assist in gowning and gloving of the surgical team.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons; count items.
• Assist in specimen collection and care; apply dressings as needed.
• Prepare and label medications for the surgical team.
• Support post-surgery cleanup and restock of the operating room.
