Job summary

A leading travel staffing agency is looking for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CV-OR) Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract in Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in CV-OR, including Level 1 Trauma experience, and must be certified with NCCT-TS-C or NBSTSA-CST. Responsibilities include preparing sterile fields during surgeries and assisting surgical teams. Health benefits, 401k matching, and travel reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CV-OR within the last 3 years.
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience in the past 3 years.
• Must be certified with NCCT-TS-C or NBSTSA-CST.
• Flu/COVID vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Assist during surgeries related to cardiac robotics, LVAD, and heart transplant.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
