ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. The position requires surgical technologist expertise and flexibility for a rotating 12-hour shift.

You will support the surgical team in the operating room, prepare sterile setups, pass instruments, and help maintain a sterile environment. This travel role offers housing allowances and travel reimbursements as part of ARMStaffing's benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• CST or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TSC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
• Assemble sterile and non-sterile equipment; adjust and check equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including washing, shaving, and ensuring aseptic incision sites.
• Transport patients to the operating room, assist in positioning them, and cover them with sterile drapes.
• Assist the surgical team in donning sterile attire.
• Pass instruments and supplies during surgery, hold retractors, and assist with site preparation and dressing application.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments as per protocols.
• Help in the preparation and disposal of specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Clean and restock the operating room after procedures to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
