Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Silverdale, WA. This position requires a CVOR surgical technologist with BLS certification and at least one year of CVOR experience.

The role supports cardiovascular procedures on a 12-hour day shift, 36 hours per week. As part of a surgical team, you’ll set up the OR, maintain sterility, and pass instruments while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perfusionists to ensure patient

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC)

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for proper functionality
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team
• Pass instruments efficiently to maintain procedural flow
• Maintain sterility by cleaning/sterilizing instruments per infection control standards
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Utilize data from surgical cards for the procedure and surgeon
• Maintain proficiency in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic procedures
