Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Tacoma, WA. The role runs 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts, starting 10/26/2026.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or 3 years of acute care surgical tech experience, current CPR, and CVOR experience focusing on open-heart procedures such as CABG. Travel, housing allowance, and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience as a surgical technician in acute care.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum of 18 months CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation for open-heart care.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation for cardiac procedures.
• CABG and cardiac procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs, 2nd circulating, and Heart Holder roles in CVOR.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments, scrubs for procedures, and counts instruments and sponges.
• Obtain specimens and hand over to circulating nurse.
• Facilitates room turnover time.
• Participates in department on-call schedule.
