Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Royal Oak, MI. The role requires a year of CVOR tech experience, current BLS, and a commitment to patient safety during cardiovascular procedures.

You will work 40 hours per week on an 8-hour shift, with travel benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team. Comprehensive benefits and competitive pay are provided for the duration of the assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVOR surgical tech experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• CST or national equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to procedures.
• Stock supplies and inspect equipment for readiness.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain sterility and infection control compliance.
• Pass instruments to maintain procedural flow.
• Handle specimens with precision and care.
• Maintain proficiency in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic procedures.
