Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wyoming, MI. You will work 40 hours per week on day shifts as part of a travel team, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

As a CVOR Surgical Technologist, you will prepare the OR, ensure sterility, maintain equipment, and assist the surgical team to support cardiovascular procedures. Requires one year CVOR experience and a current BLS certification; CST certification preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC).
• CST or nationally recognized equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock and inspect surgical supplies and equipment for proper functionality.
• Assist with transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists and team to deliver coordinated care.
• Pass instruments efficiently to maintain procedural flow.
• Maintain sterility and clean/sterilize instruments per infection control standards.
