Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, VA. The role is 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts and is travel employment.

Responsibilities include OR setup, maintaining sterile environments, aiding the surgical team, and ensuring equipment readiness. Required: 1 year CVOR experience and BLS; CST or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC).
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for proper functionality.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and pass instruments to maintain procedural flow.
• Maintain sterility by cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
