Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Midland, MI. The role covers 40 hours per week with days shifts and a supportive clinical team environment.

The position requires one year of CVOR experience and a current BLS certification; CST or national certification is preferred. This role focuses on OR setup, sterile technique, and coordinated care with surgeons and staff.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC)

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for proper functionality
• Transport patients to and from surgery as required
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care
• Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and pass instruments efficiently
• Maintain sterility and sanitation per infection control standards
• Work with health team members to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain proficiency in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
