American Traveler seeks an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist with NBSTSA certification for a day-shift hospital assignment in Wisconsin. Role requires heavy call coverage and proficiency across CVOR, General OR and Hybrid OR cases.

The position offers travel opportunities with a 5x8 schedule, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and a team-driven, hospital-based environment. Compliance requires NBSTSA, BLS, ACLS, and Wisconsin or Compact licensure; first-time travelers not accepted.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in CVOR/OR/Trauma.
NBSTSA certification is a hard stop requirement.
BLS certification is required.
ACLS certification is required.
License for Wisconsin or Compact; pending license accepted at submission but must be obtained during compliance.
Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted.
SSN, DOB, and RTO information required for consideration.
NIHSS certification may be pending but must be completed during compliance.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital setting covering CVOR, General OR, and Hybrid OR cases.
Community hospital work environment.
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Heavy call requirements including daily, weekend, and holiday coverage with a 30-minute call response time.
On-call team includes 2 CVOR Certified Surgical Technicians, a First Assist, and 2 CVOR RNs.
Epic EMR experience preferred.
Proficiency across vascular and cardiovascular procedures (CABG, TAVR, EVAR, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm repairs).
Local candidates accepted at a lower rate; travel pairs accepted.
Facility cannot accommodate latex allergies.
Travelers may return after a minimum 1-year separation period.
Passport-style badge photo required within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance.
Orientation includes facility modules averaging 3-4 hours, usually completed in first days.
