Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN CVOR in Anchorage, Alaska for a daytime Open Heart OR role. The position is 13 weeks long with a 40-hour week and 10-hour days. Start date is 09/22/2026 and employment is Travel-based, offering perioperative and cardiovascular team responsibilities.

Required are a valid RN license, ACLS, and 3+ years in OR nursing with open heart focus. Preferred are TNCC/PALS certifications and Alaska eligibility where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license is required in the state of practice.
• ACLS certification is required or obtained prior to start date.
• Minimum 3 years of operating room nursing experience, focus on open heart procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with perioperative procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Support the surgical team during complex cardiovascular operations.
• Provide patient care coordination and ensure safety in the OR.
