Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The position features 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, and a 13-week duration, with a focus on cardiovascular operating room care.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and a nursing degree from an accredited program; BLS/ACLS may be required. Travel and housing support, benefits, and weekly pay are offered through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• BLS & ACLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care before, during and after surgery.
• Serve as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
