Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing assignment in Anchorage, Alaska.
As an operating room open heart nurse (RN OR-OH), you will manage the care of patients before, during, and after open‑heart surgery. Working primarily within the operating suite, you will be responsible for preparing the patient, handling and preparing operating instruments and equipment, monitoring patient status, and assisting with open‑heart surgeries. You will also provide pre‑ and post‑op education and moral support to patients and their families.
