Job summary

The Fusion Medical Staffing‑Nursing CVOR RN travel role in Anchorage, AK places you in a 13‑week assignment focused on cardiovascular surgery support. You’ll join a dedicated clinical team delivering coordinated care during complex procedures.

Required: 1 year CVOR RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS; ACLS and other certifications are preferred. Travel benefits and day-one coverage accompany a competitive package.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVOR RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist with sterile technique, equipment preparation, and instrument handling.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team for coordinated patient care.
• Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and post‑operative handoff to recovery.
