Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Slidell, Louisiana.

The CVOR RN will circulate for a variety of cardiothoracic procedures and support a team of physicians, RNs and other staff in a fast-paced operating room.  As a CVOR Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform tasks such as assessing and planning care, administering medications, maintaining sterility, and coordinating OR activities.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• Travel nurse assignment availability in Slidell, LA.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR care during cardiothoracic procedures.
• Circulate for the surgical team and assist during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and manage instruments and supplies.
• Assess and monitor patients before, during and after surgery.
