Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a CVOR RN travel nurse to work in Slidell, Louisiana. The role focuses on providing circulating and professional CVOR care within a team of physicians and staff for cardiothoracic and complex surgeries.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and be able to work 40 hours per week on 8-hour day shifts. Travel assignment details include 13 weeks duration and potential tax-free stipends.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required; 2 years' acute care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in CVOR procedures and circulating for cardiothoracic surgeries.
• Provide patient care before, during and after surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs per protocol.
• Maintain aseptic technique and coordinate room sterility and equipment.
