Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Slidell, Louisiana is seeking a travel RN with CVOR specialty for an 8-week assignment. The role requires 18 months of Acute Care Surgery experience, an active RN license, a nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

You'll work 40 hours per week on day shifts in the operating room. Travel benefits include housing or housing allowance, weekly pay, credentialing fee coverage, health and disability insurance, 401(k) matching, travel reimbursement, and referral

Qualifications

• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License and nursing degree from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as circulating and/or scrub nurse as required in the OR.
• Circulating OR nurses work outside of the sterile field; scrub nurses handle instruments within the sterile field.
