Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Surgical Technologist (CVOR CST) for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. The role involves preparing the OR, maintaining the sterile field, and assisting the surgeon with instruments and supplies. Cardiac and vascular experience is required, and taking call shifts is mandatory.

Certification as a CST is preferred, and current standards may change with staffing needs. Shift is DAYS - 4x10s, 6:00a to 4:00p.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE CVOR EXPERIENCE.
• CST certification is preferred.
• Cardiac and vascular experience required.
• Taking call shifts is a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and sterile field.
• Set up surgical equipment, supplies and solutions.
• Pass instruments, fluids and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
• Manage sterile field and specimens, perform counts to prevent retained objects.
